When out in the midday sun, wear a hat or headscarf, try braids or slick your hair back into a bun so the ends are protected. The ends are the oldest part of your hair and are more susceptible to damage.

Multi-task by applying a deep moisturizing treatment or masque when the hair is wet, and loosely tie it up.
